I'll give this a 5 but really I think they are a 4.5. The food is among some of the best Indian food on Staten Island. But it does take awhile to come out, which is my only complaint. Their lassi however is amazing and the vibes inside are very immaculate. Overall always a good experience as long as I don't have a time constraint.

I often dine at Taste of India with friends. We always have a great meal! The staff is excellent, patient, kind, and always looks out for us. Their chicken tikka masala is amazing and their appetizer sampler was just the perfect start to a great meal- I could just taste the minced lamb in pastry crust as I write this - something I would love to learn to make myself! I think the next time we come here for our annual dinner, I will be trying the Tandoori lamb chops!

The food here is so insane I can't even describe how the flavors just melt into your mouth! Their mango drink/smoothie is also the best thing I've ever had and is a nice refreshment to cut the spices of the curries. You also have to get their garlic naan!

This review is for takeout The food here is delicious. I've ordered from here a few times and I think it's time for me to write a review. I normally order the lahsuni chicken, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken (chicken makhani), Kachori Chat, and samosas. Those are my go to. But I have also tried the chicken Jalfrezi and the bel puri. Both are also delicious but not my cup of tea. Each main comes with rice. The staff is great. Highly recommended this place.

Taste of India is one of my favorite places to get Indian food when I am yearning for it. I have tried the Tandoori chicken, Palak Paneer, Paneer and Chicken Tikka Masala and a bunch of the Naan breads. My favorite thing to order is Paneer Tikka Masala and a Chicken Tikka Naan bread. Best of both. Their alcoholic drinks are always strong and tasty as well. I am not a fan of their yogurt based drinks but it is just not for me. The service is very quick and professional. The vibe inside is modern and traditional at the same time. Highly recommend.

Come to taste of Indian hungry and with a good group of at least 4! I love ordering many things and we all share and try everything family style. I came 2 times and both times I left super happy and FULLLLL!!! First, the staff are all so nice and friendly. They were helpful with recommendations and if we had any questions. We ordered many things both times. Let me just tell you our favorites and life changing dishes!! Obviously naan is so fluffy, buttery and salt. I actually prefer the plain one over the flavored naans. The Chana poori is a cool big puffed ball that comes with delicious stewed chickpeas. It's really fun to eat this. Also you cannot go wrong with their samosas, they are super filled and delish. Our favorite entrees are lamb madras (omg must get!!!), curry goat, chicken tikka (safe choice) and everything comes with rice!!! I am still dreaming about the lamb madras !!!! I'm m excited to go back to try more dishes here!!!
